Connor's Farm

In March Madison and I took a road trip to visit Hailey, Brandon and Connor in Eastern Idaho. They moved back there in the fall and we had not gone to visit them. I was very nervous because it was my very FIRST road trip all by myself. I did a pretty good job and Madison was well behaved.

Connor told Madison he lived on a farm and to be ready to get dirty!! She was pretty excited, but she only lasted about 10 minutes out on the "farm" with Connor before I heard screaming/crying and came running outside to an very upset little girl. I thought she was hurt, but when I asked her what was wrong she said "I got dirt on my shoe". And that was basically it. She was over it. She came inside to hang with me and Hailey for the rest of the day. Connor, on the other hand, stayed out until dark. And that is his usual routine :)

Brett's 31st Birthday

Madison was really excited for Brett's Birthday this year. She really wanted to make him a "Lightning McQueen" cake. She talked about it for weeks before his birthday! I decided that would be a little difficult... so we made cupcakes and got a Lightning McQueen car and sprinkles to go on top. Luckily, it did the trick. She was pleased as punch with the result. And I think Brett liked it too ...

Good Bye 2009!

After Christmas my dad took our family out to sushi and bowling. My dad hates bowling but he was a really good sport! We had such a fun time with the family that day!! The sushi was delicious and the bowling game was the bomb.

DISNEYLAND!!

We decided to take the long way home from Arizona and go on a little family trip to our favorite: Disney land!! I really enjoyed spending time with just the three of us. Madison was so sweet. She loved it as usual. We feel so lucky to be her parents.
